Once done recording, click on the "Record" button to stop the recording process. The video will be saved as an AVI file in your video folder automatically. Watch the video and go to the "Playlist" section on your VLC player to find all the recordings you made. Double-click on the recording to play it instantly.

NOTE: Just a heads up, VLC player can’t record your voice if you are planning to make a video tutorial. You have to record your voice separately, play it along with the video recording, and record them at the same time to make a video with voice-over audio.
