How to Reinstall Windows 10 From USB Drive

Windows 10 is the latest addition to the list of Windows operating system. Packed with the latest updates and function, Windows 10 is the best operating system Windows has released to date. But you need to make sure that your USB flash drive has a minimum storage space of 6 gigabytes, for the .iso file of the installer consumes that much storage space.

Step1 Format the USB Flash Drive

First is you need to make sure that the device have enough space for the installer. So to make sure, plug the flash drive to your PC device, then, right-click and select “Format”.

Step2 Select Fat32

Next, under file system, select FAT32. Then click the start button. Then, after formatting is done, right-click on the device again then set the FAT32 as active.

Step3 Copy the File

Next, copy the installer to the USB flash drive, it is usually in .iso format. After that, safely remove the USB flash drive from the pc, then plug it in the device that needs Windows 10 to be reinstalled.

Step4 Restart your PC

Restart the PC, now in order for the USB flash drive to be read first by the PC device, on the startup screen press the F12 key. You will be redirected to the settings menu and from there, choose the USB device and press the UP arrow key till the USB device reaches first place.

Step5 Start the Installation

After boot, the installation will automatically start which will take a couple of minutes. Just follow the instructions on the screen to be guided accordingly.
